Yes. The course follows 49 CFR Part 40, and the qualification programs include the required proficiency demonstration — five error-free mock collections for urine (§40.33), five per device for oral fluid (§40.35), seven mock tests for BAT (§40.213).
Your DOT collector and BAT qualification happens in a live, scheduled Zoom session with an instructor, and that’s where you do the supervised mock collections Part 40 requires. You also get self-paced modules in your student portal to study ahead of time and look back at whenever.
The online modules are self-paced, so the timing is up to you. After that you do one live Zoom session with an evaluator to get qualified. A lot of people get through the modules and book their session in the same week.
You get an official training certificate, your completed mock collection records, a qualification statement, and a full documentation package. Basically everything you’d need for a DOT audit.
