Questions & answers

What makes a certificate "audit-ready" vs. just "a completion cert"?

When an OSHA inspector or HR auditor reviews your binder, they're checking a specific list: (a) identifiable issuer, (b) specific regulatory citation, (c) full holder identity, (d) proof of comprehension (test score), (e) external verification (so the cert can't be forged), (f) expiration date. Our audit-ready cert checks every box. A basic auto-generated completion PDF often fails on (e) and (f).

Is this an official government "certification"?

No — none of these areas (HIPAA, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, DOT Reasonable Suspicion & DER, harassment prevention, workplace violence prevention, drug-free workplace) has a federal individual-certification program. What the regulations do require is training and documented proof of completion. Our certificate is that proof of completion, formatted to survive an audit. We don't claim to certify you; we certify that you completed the training.

How does the verification work?

Every audit-ready cert has a unique ID like VCT-2026-A1B2C3D4E5F6 and a QR code printed on it. Auditors point their phone camera at the QR (or type the URL testrightacademy.com/verify?id=…) and land on a public page showing the holder's first name + last initial, the course, completion date, expiration, and test score. If the cert is real, the page confirms it. If it's not, the page says "Not Found." Takes about 10 seconds.

How long is the cert valid?

Every certificate is dated and valid for 12 months from completion, and we email a renewal reminder 60 days before it expires. Most of these are annual requirements — OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens explicitly requires annual retraining, and harassment prevention, workplace violence prevention, drug-free workplace, and HIPAA are all done annually as the widely-followed standard. A couple are one-time / role-based rather than annually mandated — DOT Reasonable Suspicion Supervisor (§382.603, a one-time 2-hour requirement) and DOT DER training — though many employers refresh them periodically and whenever the rules change.

I bought one but I'm not the person taking the training?

The cert is tied to the email used at checkout. If you're buying for one employee, use their work email so the certificate ends up in their name. Buying for a team? Use our bulk purchase tool — pay once, paste your employees' emails, and each person is enrolled and certified under their own name, with a dashboard to track completion. For invoicing, POs, or more than 50 seats, email info@osegroupusa.com.

Refund policy?

Full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as you haven't started the training yet. The moment you open the module you've got the paid content, so after that all sales are final.
